Regarding our bell tent hire

Our FAQs below should answer the majority of questions but if you need further help, just get in touch.

How many people can your tents sleep?

Our 5m tent packages come furnished for up to 4 guests however additional bedding packs can be ordered to allow for up to 6 guests per tent. We do recommend 4-5 guests to be comfortable and to allow for personal luggage.

Our 7m tent can sleep up to 10 adults and can accommodate 25-30 people standing or sitting.

Are your tents waterproof?

Yes. All of our tents are waterproof and come with fully zipped-in groundsheets and treated canvas.

Are your tents warm?

All of our furnished tents are designed to give you the most comfortable night possible with thick duvets, extra blankets, throws and coverings on the ground. However, we do recommend (depending on the time of year for the hire) that you bring warm layers to sleep in just in case.

How do we secure a booking?

All bookings require a 25% non-refundable deposit if booked more than 28 days ahead of the event. Less than 28 days prior to the event taking place payment is required in full.

What is your cancellation policy?

For all bookings, the charges will be levied as follows:

  • More than 28 calendar days’ notice = 25% total hire charge
  • Less than 28 calendar days’ notice = 100% total hire charge

What is the damage waiver?

This provides you indemnity against the cost of any repairs should our equipment be accidentally damaged or lost during the hire period. Indemnity does not extend to damage caused by deliberate abuse or neglect.

All prices are subject to our standard 6% accidental damage and loss waiver.

I’m not sure how many tents I require for my event. What do I do?

Don’t worry, this is a common question for people booking guest villages for their event.

We are able to take bookings in two ways to suit you:

  • Either you can book a block of tents up-front (e.g. a 5/10/15 tent village)
  • Or your guests can book their own tent with us directly. If your guests are booking directly, we recommend that they do this as early as possible as all of our tents are subject to availability

You offer a range of coloured tents, can I pick which colour I get?

Of course! Subject to availability, we will do our hardest to make sure you get the colour you want.

Do you allow pets in your tents?

Unfortunately we do not allow pets in our bell tents with the exception of guide dogs.

Will you travel outside of Hampshire?

We do consider each job on a case-by-case basis and can travel outside of Hampshire. This may be subject to an additional travel and delivery cost which will be calculated at the time of enquiry. We do not operate a minimum hire requirement.

Do you offer a one night price?

Our tents are subject to a minimum 2 night hire fee regardless of whether you just require the tent for one night. This is because the majority of the cost is in the staff costs, set up and delivery of the tent.

What should we bring with us?

All of our furnished glamping packages include full bedding and furnishings for up to 4 people. You will just need to bring your personal items, food, cutlery, crockery and the disposable BBQ! Its worth bringing a couple of extra warm layers just in case the weather is not so good.

When should we cut the grass?

Please don’t leave it till the last minute. Ideally the aim is to set up the bell tent on as dry a surface as possible to limit condensation and damage to the grass. Therefore if possible, it is best to cut the grass a couple of days prior to the event to allow it to dry out.
